Misleading Membership Pricing
I just purchased the $149 lifetime membership for Transcribe AI. While PayPal confirmed my payment of $149, my Transcribe AI profile continues to say that after three days my membership will transition to $89 a year. The app is good however customer service and the membership portion of the app is AWFUL. At this point my free trial has expired, my $149 Lifetime Membership is not showing up, and I’ve sent 5 emails, yet no one has responded!
Disappointing.
I'd be better of with a tape recorder than rely on this service to come back with ‘service error’ and delete an entire recording of a live event. I have no time for your amateur performance.

When the screen is off, the app shows that it’s still on, but it’s not. 30 minutes meeting and it recorded only one minute while the screen was on. After that everything was gone. Original audio showed a record of one minute. Not sure how I feel at this point.

It’s been reliable, it saves your audio for later to retry if it can’t transcribe it the first go for some reason (which has only happened once), I like the options available for the style and length of the AI note and they’ve been fun to play around with. I’m always surprised at how fast the audio processes when you create a note. Having the option to upload audio files is really helpful, and the two hour time limit for recording is awesome to have available. In my experience the beta feature that differentiates between different speakers works pretty well. There are lots of options available when sharing/ exporting the notes and they’ve always worked smoothly for me. Can ChatGPT do what this does? Absolutely, however, I don’t have to re-prompt it over and over again. This is the absolute perfect AI assistant for notetaking and transcription. I love that it offers follow up steps and contextual notes.
Best of its kind
My favorite transcribe tool. It’s accurate and fast - better than Otter for me. I like the meeting summary it generates and the developer is always adding new functionality to the app. Highly highly recommended to go with the one year or lifetime license.

I was surprised, and then astonished, to find the transcriptions are not word-for-word. (It would not be useful for preserving an exact courtroom transcript for example.) Instead the app, seemingly through wizardry, edits away repetition and the stuttering and stammering inherent in normal speech. The result is a concise summary of the significant points addressed by the speaker without the excess verbiage. It is the perfect note taking device. Transcribe AI will even turn the copy into precise bullet points with a tap of the screen. The app would have relieved me of hours of editing notes every week when I attended college.

I downloaded Transcribe AI during a promotion. My experience with transcription apps had been disappointing in the past, but Transcribe AI exceeded my expectations. After using it for several days, I found only one error, which was likely due to a mispronunciation. The accuracy of this app is almost eerie. I was surprised to discover that the transcriptions aren't word-for-word, but instead, the app edits out repetitive and stuttering speech. This creates a concise summary of the main points addressed by the speaker, eliminating unnecessary verbiage. It's the perfect tool for note-taking. With a simple tap, Transcribe AI can even convert the notes into precise bullet points.
